Great place that has free mini 3D Charm Designs (& how to read the diagrams)

E
I've been wanting to share this pattern designer here for a while now. Their designs are what really got me into loving 3D beading & making animal charms/figurines. It is one of the best places Ive found for obtaining free-use 3D bead charm patterns, offered by the creator themselves! Poochnavi has a lot of mini animals, objects, & others on their website, [**Wanco Beads**](https://poochnavi.com/beads/recipe/ikimono_e.html), many of which are free (personal use only). *(If it loads in Japanese there's an English button on the top right corner)* They do, however, come in the form of Right Angle Weave (RAW) diagram(s). For anyone that has never used or struggles to use beading diagrams, most of the patterns come with a link to a "movie" (youtube tut) where it shows what it should look like when following along the diagrams step by step (with a number in the corner of the screen, where "1/2-5" = "diagram 1/out of 2 -step 5"). It can be very useful to learn how to read beading diagrams, boost your efficiency beading, & expand your creative possibilities (+ many more patterns to try!) You might notice that poochnavi's patterns are made primarily with faceted (bicone) crystal beads. This is not required. I have made a few dozen of their patterns with seed beads (same shape & proportion as pony beads, only smaller), which I show some of one of the pics below. All of them from Wancobeads, aside from the 2 cat patterns, which I made following my own diagrams I had created by converting this [step-by step-tut](https://web.archive.org/web/20230605130102/https://beadjewelrymaking.com/2009/project/july.html) I found on beadjewelrymaking.com. (There are also cat patterns on Wanco Beads, too) I've also included a pic where I explain how to follow the diagram & how their video corresponds to it, using one of the simplest patterns on the site, the Hydrangea. (heres the link to the hydrangea [pattern](https://poochnavi.com/beads/recipe/ajisai/rec01_e.html) and [youtube video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHIrMgWYKpw)) I hope this is helpful for anyone wanting to get more into 3D beading, or looking for 3D Patterns! (Also, if you end up making one, you can comment a pic of it on this post. I'd love to see it!)
