Forum Rules & Acceptable Use Policy

** You must agree to these rules for complete forum access **

Welcome to the Kandi Pad community! Our primary mission is to provide a dedicated platform for kandi pattern creation and discovery. The forum is here to supplement this mission by providing a space for kandi and kandi-adjacent discussions.

To ensure a safe, positive, and focused environment, please adhere to the following guidelines.

Keep it PLUR!

Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect are the cornerstones of this community. Please read our PLUR statement here

1. The "Kandi-First" Mission

On-Topic Discussions: All posts must be relevant to kandi, crafting, or their adjacent communities.
Miscellaneous Section: We provide a "Miscellaneous" section for broader chat, but it must remain positive and is subject to age restrictions.
Focus: This forum is not for general life updates, venting, or non-kandi-related social media topics.

2. General Conduct

Respect for Others: Treat all users with courtesy. Personal attacks, insults, or discriminatory language are strictly prohibited.
No Hate Speech: Hate speech of any kind—including but not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia—will result in an immediate ban.
No Harassment: Stalking, cyberbullying, and threats are not tolerated.
No Plagiarism: All content must be original. Do not post patterns, art, images, or any other material that you do not have the rights to.
No Personal Information: For your safety, do not share full names, addresses, locations, or phone numbers.

3. Prohibited Content

To maintain a safe haven for all creators, the following topics are strictly prohibited. This restriction applies to all forum posts, comments, and any creative writing (such as song lyrics or poems) shared on the site.

Do not post or discuss:

Self-Harm & Suicide: Any content depicting, discussing, or encouraging self-injury.
Paraphilic & Problematic Topics: Including but not limited to MAP, Zoo, Necro, proshipping, darkshipping, shitposting or cult-related content.
Sensitive Subjects: Including but not limited to politics, religion, or dating.
Illegal Activity: Do not post or discuss any illegal acts.
Spam & Unapproved Advertising: Excessive or irrelevant content is prohibited. While personal links (YouTube, Etsy, etc.) are allowed, Kandi Pad reserves the right to remove links deemed as spam.

4. Enforcement & Moderation

The Kandi Pad team, including Site Moderators and Pattern Quality Controllers (PQCs), monitors the site to ensure these rules are upheld.

One-Warning Policy: Minor offenses will receive one formal warning.
Bans: Repeat offenses or serious violations (such as hate speech, paraphilic content, or harassment) will result in an immediate ban.
Moderator Discretion: Moderators have final say on what content is considered appropriate for the site.

Keep it PLUR, always and in all ways!

This isn't just a suggestion, it's the very heartbeat of Kandi Pad. We are a community built on the unbreakable foundation of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect, and that spirit must shine through in every interaction, every post, every connection you make here.

Here's how we live and breathe PLUR on Kandi Pad:

Peace is our intention: We strive to create a calm, positive, and drama-free space. Disagreements should be handled respectfully and constructively, focusing on understanding rather than conflict. Let's be mindful of our words and actions, ensuring they contribute to a harmonious environment.
Love is our connection: We embrace empathy, kindness, and compassion for one another. Celebrate each other's joys, offer support during tough times, and remember that we are all part of the Kandi Pad family. Prejudice, hate speech, and negativity have no place here.
Unity is our strength: We value inclusivity and celebrate the diversity of our members. Regardless of background, beliefs, or interests, we come together through our shared appreciation for the Kandi culture and the spirit of connection. Let's build bridges, not walls, and learn from one another.
Respect is our foundation: We treat everyone with courtesy, consideration, and honor. This includes listening actively, acknowledging different perspectives, and refraining from personal attacks, harassment, or any behavior that diminishes another person's worth. Respect extends to privacy, boundaries, and the creative expressions shared within our community.

Living the PLUR life on Kandi Pad means:

Thinking before you post and ensuring your contributions align with our core values.
Being open-minded and willing to understand different viewpoints.
Offering help and support to your fellow Kandi kids.
Calling out negativity respectfully and contributing to a positive resolution.
Remembering that behind every username is a real person deserving of kindness.

Let the principles of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect guide every click, every comment, and every connection you make on Kandi Pad. This is what makes our community special, and it's up to each and every one of us to keep that flame burning bright!
