Big Changes Coming to Kandi Pad✌️

***Feb 5 -** Edited "Refocusing on Creativity" section to answer the popular question of which topics are staying* 👋 Hey everyone, I am currently hard at work on the next big update for Kandi Pad. This includes a full site redesign, brand new editor and social features, and other major upgrades to make the Kandi Pad experience the best it can be. I'll be sharing a dedicated announcement with all the technical details and launch dates in the near future, so keep an eye out! In preparation for this new chapter, I will be doing some *"spring cleaning"* to ensure Kandi Pad remains a safe, creative, and happy space for everyone. **To get ready for the new site, I need to refocus the forum to be strictly about what brings us all together: Kandi.** The first, most important changes I will be implementing along with the redesign are as follows: **Refocusing on Creativity:** I am retiring some "Off-Topic" channels. I want this space to be a break from the noise of the real world, so I am removing discussions regarding politics, venting, and personal drama. The music, art, gaming, pride, anime, happy highlights topics will stick around. Miscellaneous will stick around on a trial-basis and be closely moderated. **Zero-Tolerance Policy:** I will also be further enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy on drama. Content that disrupts the community, is aggressive, negative, or in any other way breaks the spirit of PLUR will be removed - regardless of topic. And any offenders risk being banned. **New Age Guidelines:** Kandi Pad will remain an all-ages site, but as part of the update, I will be introducing age-gating for specific content and activities. This means certain parts of the site may eventually be restricted (e.g., 13+, 16+, or 18+) to ensure safety and compliance for everyone. I know these may be significant changes, but they are necessary to make Kandi Pad the best creative hub it can be. I’m incredibly grateful for this community's support, feedback, and suggestions.
