## Facebook Login will be going away on Monday, August 24, 2026. If you have signed up with Facebook and have not yet created a Kandi Pad password for account access, please do so before that time via your **Account Settings** (https://kandipad.com/settings). Users who signed up with Facebook and fail to connect a password will risk being locked out of their account. If you have any questions or run into any issues transitioning your account, please reach out. --- **Why tho?** Over the last couple of years, maintaining the Facebook Login integration has required an increasing amount of administrative overhead and constant background updates to comply with their changing data access renewal policies. While my implementation is straightforward, the frequent requirement to jump through hoops to keep the connection active has become a significant drain on development time and, honestly, kind of just really annoying. And because less than 1% of new users utilize Facebook Login, the time spent maintaining it simply doesn’t make sense anymore. Removing it allows me to redirect that energy into building better features and improving the core Kandi Pad experience. --- Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of the Kandi Pad community!
