**Pattern Moderation** --- Pattern moderation is a big deal on this site and is essential to keep our public gallery high-quality and safe for all users. While our Pattern Quality Controllers (PQCs) work incredibly hard, our backlog recently hit 30,000 patterns, which unfairly slowed down your approval times. To fix this, I've built and implemented a new moderation system that functions completely behind the scenes. And I'm happy to say it is already making a huge difference. We expect to completely clear the backlog within a week or two. Once we're caught up, your patterns will be processed much faster. That being said, our PQCs are still doing the bulk of the work, and we always need more hands. If you're interested, you can apply here: https://kandipad.com/pqcs **Pending Review Indicator** --- You may have noticed a new Pending Review banner on your dashboard. This simply means a pattern is still in the moderation queue. Moving forward, this banner will appear on all new public patterns, and they will remain hidden from other users until the review is complete. **PQC Updates** --- I’ll be rolling out some minor, frequently requested updates to the PQC portal soon.
