Story abt how I got accused of grey washing a black character So in case you don't know what character im talking about, ITS LITERALLY MY OC. Okay so basically at a football game during halftime after both bands performed, I was talking to a group of band kids on the other team, and we were all talking about being artists and stuff, so I showed them this oc, and GOD I wish I didnt 😭😭 they all went kinda quiet, and one of them asked "why is she grey? You're seriously one of the people that grey washes black people? Racist." SHE ISNT EVEN BLACK BTW!!! SHES PUERTO RICAN. Plus, her grey skin is barely related to her race!!!!! She has greyish skin from years of living on a planet with toxic dust and it getting in her lungs and stuff!!!!!!!!!!! So basically since i told her the stuff abt the planet and toxic dust n stuff the person said "well black people don't get that skin tone from dust yk? Its melanin." So i told her she's Puerto Rican, not black, and I said the dust is getting in her lungs making her skin greyish, not getting on her skin making it greyish and so ofc she had to say "well.. her long black hair is stereotyping hispanics.." mind you, everyone else there was just watching us 😭 btw, my hair would look like my ocs if I had never cut and dyed it. So I told her im literally Puerto rican, ik what hair a lot of Puerto Ricans have, and she just rolled her eyes and walked away, me and the other people just kept talking, but she was like glaring at us all after that 😭 Btw the pictures are the oc
