E
Hi this is a written tutorial on how to make a rotator with x base! If you are confused tell me in the comments I will explain it as I know sometimes tutorials are confusing. ★ KANDI X-BASE ROTATOR TUTORIAL (BEGINNER FRIENDLY) ★ 1. THE MATH - Your Base Ring must be a MULTIPLE OF 3 (e.g., 24, 27, 30, 33, 36). - Use two colors: "Plain" and "Bright" (Anchor beads). 2. PHASE 1: THE FOUNDATION (ONE-STRING METHOD) - STARTER RING: String your base amount (e.g., 30 beads) in a pattern of [2 Plain, 1 Bright]. Tie a triple knot. DO NOT CUT the long string. - THE POINTS: String coming out of a Bright bead? Add 3 beads [1 Plain, 1 Bright, 1 Plain]. Skip the 2 plain beads on the ring and poke into the NEXT Bright bead. Repeat all the way around. - THE STEP-UP: Thread your string UP through the first 2 beads of the triangle you just made. You are now poking out of a top Bright point. - THE TRACK: Add 2 Plain beads and poke into the next Bright point. Repeat all the way around to make a flat wall. 3. PHASE 2: THE SPINNER (THE HULA HOOP) - THE SEPARATE RING: On a NEW string, make a normal single bracelet. - THE SIZE: Use 4 to 6 MORE beads than your base (e.g., if base is 30, make this 36). - THE FIT: Tie it and slide it onto the wall you built in Phase 1. Make sure it spins! 4. PHASE 3: THE CAGE (LOCKING IT IN) - THE MOVE: Take the string still attached to your wall. Weave it through the beads until it’s poking out of a Bright bead on the middle "Track" row. - THE BRIDGE: Add 3 beads [1 Plain, 1 Bright, 1 Plain]. Reach OVER the loose spinner ring and poke into the NEXT Bright bead on the track. Repeat all the way around. - THE FINISH: This "cages" the spinner. Thread through a few beads to secure tension, tie a triple knot, and hide it inside a bead. ★ PRO TIPS ★ - TENSION: Keep the base tight so it stands up, but keep the cage (Phase 3) slightly loose so it doesn't squish the spinner. - ANCHORS: You are almost always You can make this any size as well but make sure it fits you and you like it have fun making this and I hope this helped. Tag me if u want a part of it explaining its ok if you confused I can break it down for you!
