How to dress alt for beginners <3 (Part 1?)

May not be design inspo but yeah!! A lot of people are just wearing whatever is in their closet (not meant as rude) but I think it's better to know how to put prices together in the style you like!! I'll give some info on basic styles, and probably make another post with more style specific variations, but first I'll give basic rules I use!! (I shop at mostly thrift stores btw) 1. KNOW YOUR WARDROBE! Know what you want to wear and what you have! Not all of your clothing has to be in your style to still fit it. Accessories can really make an outfit, so don't be afraid to wear some weird base outfit before you style it yourself. Try layering pieces to fit how you want to present. 2. Don't be picky! Grab stuff that isn't the best, and just try it on yourself, who knows, it may look good! You're NOT a poser if you have multiple styles, and it is hard to stay consistent. Grab cool accesories AT ALL COSTS/nf They carry an outfit many times! 3. Know how you want to dress Find your style! It does not matter whether it doesn't match your gender. If you want to dress in a style, you can either change it to fit how you want to present, or just dress that way! Don't be afraid to be called names, because you know your just dressing how you'd like to do so! My fingers hurt now so good luck styling ys!
