SO, Pseudoregalia is a short 3-d platformer retro video game made in 2023 where you play as Sybil, a dream guardian, scouring the lost dream remains of the Kingdom of Sansa. The movement tech in game is not movement, no, its SCHMOOVEMENT!! I was able to get the 2nd movement ability FOURTH!!! There's wallkicks separated from wallclings, KICKING YOUR SWORD, groundpound cancels into backflip, slide hops, slide gainers, bunny-hopping its AZAHHAHAH The combat is rather bleak but it connects well with the movement tech. (There's only two bosses😭) and the enemy design is pretty fun and cool As I said too, the game is retro. Takes up less than Half a Gigabyte and looks a lot similiar to early nintendo games(Think of Ocarina of Time and Mario 64) There's 8 unique areas that while not mapped fully, are easily understoot and smoothly connect to one another.(I HATE underbelly though) Sybil's also pretty cool. She's a jackalope and dressed to fit the goat butlers in the kingdom. Her sword doesn't have a blade, no its just a straight POLE OF STEEL. Her animations are pretty fluid and coreographed. She has multiple outfits(sleepytime and guardian are my favs). She doesn't speak but its just good characterization.
