MY ANALYSIS OF BIG SHOT

Ok so as yall might know Spamton is my fav character in the entire ut/dr series and so here’s my complete analysis of his boss fight song Big Shot. Starting off strong in the power of Neo from Undertale which is mettaton neos boss theme. there is a pattern of 11 notes them being DCCBA repeated with a slight variation, you hear this same motif in battle of a true hero being undyne the undyings theme. You also hear this motif in big shot at the beginning but simply in a different key. This motif is something I’ve interpreted to be a sign that the character is on their last resort or chance seeing that mettaton Neo is the last form of mettaton, undyne the undying is refusing to die and Spamton Neo is Spamton last chance at reaching "heaven" or "[Hyperlink Blocked]" now hyperlink blocked is the state of being the player, or in Spamtons case the one pulling the strings, that’s what he wants. Nexthe lyrics in big shot. After a few listens I had realized that there are in fact lyrics in this song and I’ve confirmed them to be "think it’s coming for me answer the phone, can’t explain untill you’re all alone, it pulls the strings and makes them ring, untill your heart gets ripped up" and repeats that one more time and ends with "tell you what you big shot" now obviously I think it’s coming for me would be the entity on the other side of the phone (gaster if u wanna get theoretical) and I can’t explain untill your all along would be him needing Kris to come to his new shop front earlier in the game alone so he could get them to bring the loaded disk to the Neo body. It pulls the strings and makes them ring would be the entity again showing that they pull his string aka control him and they are on the phone. Untill your heart gets ripped up probably means that it destroyed his autonomy and now he’s a puppet on strings. Next the most obvious is probably the freedom motif in big shot, it’s very prevalent and noticeable and this is the simplest to explain because characters with the freedom motif understand that the soul or the player are separate form the vessel or Kris and "pull the strings ” this is important to Spamton because being the soul is what he wants so he try’s to take Kris’s. He wants to be you, the player. Now for one that might be a stretch but I stand by it. In the song dummy from Undertale there is a pattern of 7 notes that play twice . This same pattern plays at the end of big shot, I was thinking about it and here’s what I came up with: the dummy mini boss is a dummy being possessed by a ghost, Spamton Neo is a body/vessel being possessed by Spamtons data aka the loaded disk.
