once when I was a kid at a swim meet ( I do swim yippeyahoo) my friend was like "oh my dad works at the like food stand so sometimes I get candy and I don't have to pay" so my child brain thinks "if she can get free stuff... so can I. because like I'm her friend there's gotta be some correlation??' so I go up and ask for an airheads sour rainbow strip or whatever he gives it to me and I just run away and when he comes to get me I'm sitting underneath a table crying and eating my airheads strips
