I’m an artist, right? I struggle with perfectionism A LOT; I’ve always wanted my work to be perfect and ended up always being unsatisfied with how my work came out. Yesterday I started to make some fan art of Cuphead from the AU Myth of the Machine and I finally went, “fuck it, who cares if this isn’t perfect,” and that’s what I did. Oddly enough… I actually feel like my art is improving from having a “who cares” mindset and I’m really happy about it? Especially with the line art so far, god I’m so proud of it. Usually I really struggle with line art but this time I think it actually looks really good!! Next I gotta do the rendering and color which I usually hate but I bey I’ll do great!! Sorry if this feels disjointed, just wanted to share smth positive ❤️
