i have been trying to make a rainbow kandi tie (it is at my father's house, so i can't access it rn.) and midway i ran out of string, no biggie as i could just tie more on/loop it through my other set of beads to keep going. once i finished it, i was starting to work on the neck part so that it is wearable, and it came undone in the center! it became really stressful and it was starting to get late, so i took a break. i used elastic stretchy string as it was the only kind i had that could go to such lengths at the time. i have issues with tying string, and especially elastic kinds. i tried to follow tutorials on how to tie them (my tut i was watching came with an explanation on how you'd tie the ends of the tie when you finish.) though it would keep coming undone. does anyone have any tips for someone who struggles tying in general? and should i just pull everything off, use the string for a different project, get nicer fabricy string to use for the tie, and start again sometime? so sorry i am very nervous as this is my first forum XDD any help is greatly appreciated!
