how to read kandi patterns

Hey everyone! Im not sure if this will actually reach people but im so confused with reading kandi patterns. I dont know how while i wanna use all these cool kandi patterns, the numbers and stuff on them just dont make sense to me :( Can anyone explain? Or if they do find a good video that also demonstrates it then pls put the link in the comments, because i watched this one video multiple times and it didnt even show the person actually using the kandi pattern and like reading off of it.
