:D He felt warmer than a fire as I curled up next to him. His tail curled up, nervously. “What’s wrong?” I pulled myself away to not make him uncomfortable. “It’s fine.” He put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him, but it was clear that he was feeling awkward. “My love, I think I should leave.” He wanted to say something, but his face showed his thoughts like glass. “Okay.” He helped me up and walked me home. “Maybe tomorrow, it’s just- I don’t want to leave my sister alone.” My little sister, Juna, was alone at my house when I was supposed to be taking care of her while Mom and Dad worked an extra shift. “I get it. Don’t worry.” I hugged him and we walked some more minutes further until we were at my house. “Thanks Liam.” I kissed his cheek slightly and ran into the house, my face feeling hot like the sun. “I saw that!” Juna said in a sing-song voice. She never snitched about me and him. She loved our “fermenting romance”. I don’t even know where she learned that word. “You’re supposed to be sleeping!” I said playfully. “Fine.” She walked away to our room. The next night, Mom and Dad were back and very tired. “Mom, Dad, can I-” Dad interrupted me. “Go ahead.” I smiled and ran outside to the nearby woods, headed where we were going to camp last night. “Oh, hey Maddie.” He looked like he was getting something ready in the tent. “What’re you doing?” I asked suspiciously. “Just a little something.” His ears went down but his tail wagged like there was no tomorrow. “Okay.” I hugged him. “So, I brought some board games so we would have something to do.” He grabbed them from the tent. “Cool! What’d you bring?” He laughed and sprawled out some decks of cards and an empty bottle on the dirt. “What’s the bottle for?” He couldn’t keep from laughing. “Spin the bottle?” I smirked. “If you want to, if you want to.” He smiled. “Okay.” I grabbed it and spun it around. “Me.” I said and spun it again. “And me!” I kissed the back of my hand. “All done!” I smirked at him. “Haha.” He smirked back. Short one :D (its not short) D:
