about face reveals/photos of yourself in general

im not trying to target anyone in general, but i want to give a reminder about internet safety. whether you believe it or not, people can and will use photos of you to identify you. if you take a photo in the wrong spot in your house they can, nowadays. i get it is easy to forget but please do remember that ANYONE can see these photos and use them as they like. also, i have seen many a fit check where people have their school shirts on and it has the name of their school. even without the face you are narrowing down your identity to what, under a thousand people? might sound large but when you are consitently interacting here, more and more identifiable information slips out. i know, yes, the kandipad community is overall very chill, but it only takes one bad person. plus, what if they arent even signed in? you dont have to have an account to see these forums, if im correct. many of these people posting face reveals are minors which is why i feel it is important to say something. please be safe on the internet, one photo of yourself can have major consequences, especially at a young age. many of the users here are young teens or even younger which is why i feel it even more dangerous. i know in the past i have said "if you feel safe" to minors asking about whether or not to do face reveals but looking back, that was a mistake. please dont post photos of your face if you dont want to be identified.
