Anybody else know what this feels like? :D

So if I've had a conversation with you, you might've seen me say stuff like ":3" or ":D" That's just how I show emotions even though we have emojis :P idk they just seem more, homemade. Like, when I type in emojis, I feel like they're fake emotions or just not expressed fully. But when I do the ":D" and stuff, I'm expressing them fully. Also they're kinda silly. Anyhoo, One of my friends once asked me why I did that when emojis were so much easier, but the thing is, she said it really rudely and honestly, last year (when she would say stuff like that) was so stressful I didn't want to deal with it, she kinda made it her mission to stress me out and then play the victim. srry I think abt that sometimes when I do the little ":3" ty for reading my blabbering :D
