Hi gang so this is my first rant here on kandipad 😋😋 So, I saw this rant on YT shorts earlier about how, I guess you could say some people only like their favorite songs because they relate to it, like they see themselves in a specific context in that song, or the song reminds them of a specific vibe or moment. And tbh, I actually agree with that. I mean, theres some songs that I wouldn’t like if I couldn’t see myself in them. I’m not saying that EVERYBODY does this, & I’m sure that video/OG rant was saying that as well, but its just something that I agree with. People might actually like their favorite songs subconsciously for that reason (Like I said only SOME people not everybody). But Idk I just find it really interesting to think about. I mean, theres this one song I REALLY like, like I get excited when it gets unknowingly/unintentionally referenced, & to be honest I don’t think I’d like some of it as much as I do now if I couldn’t relate to it/see myself in it.
