Apollo and Hyacinthus were basically like THE power couple in Greek mythology and Hyacinthus was a beautiful young spartan prince and he was also wanted by the west wind god zephyrus. So one day Hyacinthus and Apollo went to go play discus (which is like the Ancient Greek version of frisbee with a heavy metal disc) and zephyrus got jealous of them and when Apollo threw it hard to show off his strength, zephyrus blows some wind to makes it hit Hyacinthus. So Apollo not wanting hades to take his lover used his blood to make the hyacinth flower so that every spring he could be remembered Hyacinths look something like the image below This is actually a copy paste from a comment under my hyapollo wallet! Fun fact: hyacinths are my favorite flower 🪻 I’m gonna stop saying it, but youre always free to recommend stories
