Heroin Chokehold (2nd poem in my book) Five years of age My parents together barley Never married My father I love He works all day My mother I see indifferent She At party’s, cheating On drugs I didn't know the name of I sit At the house with my grandparents They watch me during the day The house Everyone lived there My mother My father My grandparents My uncle Soon my aunt I am happy I am naive I am oblivious They break apart My parents I didn't understand My mother moved away Close enough to visit For now … Soon after i got a step mom
