I don’t think my grandparents care…/nav (story?)

My cousin hurt herself on a doorknob in the basement of my grandparents house. She’s 4 and she was as loud as a siren, I carried her to the stairwell, she was screaming in my ear. I lead her upstairs to see my grandparents completely unphased. My nana had her hands on her eyes and my poppy was in the other room reading. I screamed at the top of my lungs “******’s HURT! SHE HIT A DOORKNOB!” My nana told me to grab a frozen pea pack, sounding bored and not at all worried. My poppy came in and sat my cousin down and barely comforted her. I gave her the ice pack, soon she stopped crying. My grandparents seemed fine and ignored her needs. I can’t believe this. She is 4 yo she can’t help herself! And I’m still a kid, I can’t be responsible for a 4 YEAR OLD. This actually happened and I feel so bad for her…
