abaraka doo abraka tord! I made this up because I got really dam bored!!! Personal Magic Spellbooks- -Upon each new magic users initiation(if u have those in your story), they will recieve a blank spellbook that will be bound to their soul and theirs to customize. Through either taking pre-written pages or copying/writing pages manually into their spellbook, magic users will be able to use or begin practicing that spell; A magic user can't use a spell if it isn't in their spellbook. -Spellbooks aren't limited to only be a hunk of paper in a leather-back though! they can be personalized either by the user or by the user's soul, like the front of the book being insignia'd with the user's proficiency. They might also be able to be enchanted! Small features such as levitating around the magician, being able to flip through itself, and being non-ueclidian, storing a LOT more pages than it seems like it could. -The detail of magic users not being able to use spells that aren't in their spellbooks also makes potential for certain interactions! Friends sharing new spells they have learnt, rivals fighting for pages in order to add to their arsenal, and writers who work to design new spells. You could even add un-copyable spells if you wanna create conflict!! Yeah this is just based off my own OC's story magic system TwT Magic!!!
