My Medical Issues [Yap Session #1]

Okay so first of all, yap sessions from me will consist as a series from now on. To start off with I have a PTEN mutation, this gene is most responsible for suppressing tumor growth and with it being mutated, it acts wonkly, and doesn't do its job right. Also for any science majors, its located in the tenth chromosome. It's a rare, but light disorder (based off of my lifestyle with it) However, I wouldn't have found out if I didn't have a grand mal seizure on May 23rd 2024, an event that quite litteraly Changed my life. "The dispatchers said you almost died" - My mom The seizure was said to be 5-10 minutes (past five is dangerous) So I was sent to nationwide childrens hospital, to be kept under watch. It was there we found out what it was, a brain tumor or at least according to berger, the hospital I was taken to before transported to childrens. It was there I learned its a cavernoma, which is described as a popcorn shaped clot of blood vessels, and that due to immense pressure of my brain, it had heavily burst, causing to the seizure. and with even MORE testing, is how we found out I had PTEN (Sorry I yap in weird order, so here's the order of medical findings) -Palm Cyst (Malformation of Vessels) -Scoliosis -Cavernoma -PTEN So more on PTEN Me and my mother share it (she passed it down to me) It is linked to autism, so if anyone reading this has diagnosed autism with AT LEAST 3 of the symptoms below please look to get screened, lots of people don't get diagnosed soon enough, and I almost ran that fate. - Macrocephaly (larger than average head) (something me and my mom have) - Skin and oral mucosal lesions - Lipomas, (Fatty cysts) - Learning disabilities/hyperactivity - Polyps Or these specific cancer diagnoses (family history or personal) - Breast cancer (females only) - Thyroid cancer - Endometrial cancer (females) - Colon cancer - Melanoma Anyways, my PTEN is typically just involves random bumps and lumps alongside of possibly causing my scoliosis and missing rib.
