My unpopular opinions about pick me girls TW: small rant

I thought this was an important topic to talk about, and I talked about it through a we listen and we don't judge. But it sounded more like a rant and unpopular opinion, so I thought I could share about it in public... I might get attacked by society because of this topic TOT!! Anyways here is my opinion about them: I used to be friends with a pick me girl kind of.. I don't know why I would want to be friends with pick me girls, in my opinion.. Pick me girls are the most hated type of people, and I get why.. But in reality, they're misunderstood, insecure, and don't really have any real friends from what I have heard from my friend. That doesn't excuse their actions, of course. But this specific friend I had that was labeled as a pick me girl from society, she had ODD, OCD. and ADHD... I will still be nice to the pick me people with setting boundaries towards them, because we're all human after all... That friend I had was really nice to me because I was the only person that understood her... None of the student nor teachers liked her, because of her troublemaker and disruption towards the classroom- That's why the students calls her a pick me girl, because she sometimes harm herself to get attention and thought she liked a guy. So she tried her "hardest to impress him" by harming herself I know I may or may not be taken advantage of by being friends with a pick me girl, but at the same time I understand where they're coming from.. This is why I feel so bad for myself and others
