Okay A little bit of a rant

E
I'm watching a video where a mother says, "I'm allowed to do whatever I want because I'm your mother." Honestly, no. Turn down that music and stop touching your kid. You are completely ignoring their boundaries. Plus, you could literally make your kid deaf, and then you'll just get frustrated when they constantly have to ask, "What? What did you say? Can you please repeat yourself?" And I understand that I myself will probably never have kids. But if my partner or the person I love has kids of their own, I'm going to treat them how I would treat the rest of people around me. Try to be open and honest and be like, "Hey, is it okay if I listen to my music or do you want to put on something?" Because my parents don't like my music and I understand that, and I don't care. I just listen to whatever I want to listen to, just on my own time. But I want to give these future kids a certain type of treatment, a certain type of ability, and a certain type of like confidence that they can have. Well yeah, I'll tease them about the music they're listening to, but that's not unusual for a parent to do.
