About taking the phone part, the maximum time I would ground them would be like 2 months INSTEAD of 2 years like my mom did... I would also take away their phone for 2 weeks ofc, DEPENDING on what they have done wrong and how much they need the discipline TOT.. That's what I will do as a parent, I would go deeper but uhh I am not sure if this will be taken down when I go deeper into the topic... -Alex
