GUgh I love trains I love buses I love metros I love walking-inteded infastructure and I HATE cars. I mean, thing about the differences!! How many people fit on a street with a bus versus with cars!? SO MANY! You could clear up a ton of traffic!! How easily can you just take a metro ride around the city to get somewhere quick, rather than worry about directions and navigation in a car in the streets! How much would you save on gas is you took a train to clear the long distances and just packed casual luggage? Matter fact, how often do you use that massive trunk space in your vehicle?! Very little if I had to take a guess!!! Think of how much of your city is just designed for only cars. ONLY cars. Does it fit or include access to people who can't drive? Hell, does it even look pretty or special? How much does it get used for its cost? How often does it make your town just look like another concrete and asphalt spaghetti path!!!? I love trams and metros specifically but ARHGHS I NEVER SEE ENOUGH ENCOURAGEMENT AND LOVE FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT! yes, this rant is useless, surely. but also, yes, I love this topic and will DIE ON THIS HILL!!!!!!! /silly
