READING.

E
im prolly weird for this but hear me out Reading is kinda hard for me, but not in the way u might think!! I can read pretty well and stuff, though I'm not even gonna lie school has ruined chapter books for me and I haven't touched a chapter book WILLINGLY in years. It's all comics... Okay but anyway the reason reading is kinda hard is because whenever I read, I HAVE to imagine the voice of the character in my head while I read and I will literally reread the same page or sentence over and over until I get the voice. Like, for example, a Garfield book. In order for me to progress at all, I HAVE to read whatever he says in his voice (in my head) and whatever Jon says in his voice. If I get the voices wrong or accidentally imagine the wrong voice for the wrong character, I gotta reread it correctly. Even if its a book that I don't know the voices of, like uhh this one book my aunt got me a while ago (I lowkey forgot the name lol), I had to make up a little voice in my head for the characters and reread every time I accidentally mixed up a voice (for example I imagine a kid voice for the kid character and then read the adult character's line but forget to switch to the voice I came up with for the adult character and now I gotta read the line again in the correct voice). But uhh yeah, I hope this makes sense- Am I weird for this??
