school budget bs

this schools budgeting is honestly so questionable. a bunch of money goes to the mediocre at best (american) football team who have lost every homecoming game since weve been here and have only won two games against a school that is somehow worse than ours. the school is LITERALLY MOSTLY KNOWN for the music department, BUT WE DONT GET ANYTHING!! they couldnt even dish out the dough to hire an actual string teacher, so the orchestra was directed by a sixth grade band teacher (who we have no issue with btw, he tries his best and is chill but the school moving him up for this was a terrible decision, especially since our director last year was the best). we barely have any backstage space for theater, another thing were known for, and they havnt fixed the fly area even after a pole fell and nearly crushed someone, and apparently they dont plan on it for another 10 years. also, they keep giving the teachers worse and worse technology. Our allgebra 2 teacher for example, has a smart board esque thing that isnt compatible with her computer and is constantly gliching out. we also get absolute mystery concoctions for lunch, but at least its free. moral of the story is: dont go to american public school, it kinda sucks.
