Short scary MADE UP story

not sure it's scary lol but I hope it's short :D “I watched as my mom grabbed the phone. Her fingers shook in fear as she dialed the number as quickly as she could. 911. She mouthed. “I’m home!” Dad jumped out from nowhere. Mom screamed and caught her breath. “I almost called the cops on you!” She laughed and Dad spun her around. “Sorry, my love.” He kissed her. “Ew.” I stuck my tongue out and got out of the closet. Dad looked at me and hugged me. “What’s up? You don’t usually do this.” I said, patting his back awkwardly. He let go and I could see worry in his eyes. “Something amazing happened at work today!” He said and continued on with his cheery demeanor. “Wait.” I said to stop him from walking away, but he didn’t waste a second and swooped my mom away in an instant. I knew what was coming. I should’ve told Mom. I SHOULD’VE TOLD MOM!” The doctor calmed me down. “Can you continue with what you were saying?” I felt pain rushing through me. “I should’ve told Mom what was happening. I’m responsible, Doctor.” He shook his head and took off his worn glasses. “That’s not what we’re asking. Now is it?” I felt sick. “I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom covered in blood. “Katie!” She wheezed. Dad was standing above her with the knife you found. He looked at me and he was mad. I ran to get away and hid. I hid in the drawers next to my parent’s bed. I could still see him through the crack in the doors. “Come out.” He said in the calmest voice I’d ever heard. “Katie Natie.” He said my nickname. His green eyes glowed as he looked around and promised he wouldn’t hurt me. But that didn’t change the fact that my real dad’s eyes were brown.
