Short Story :3 READ IT

so i wrote this for my literature warm up. prompt was "Write a scene or story that includes a character wearing a disguise or costume. 5 sentences" ...bit more than 5 sentences. oops. The opaque glass door slides open, unlocked from the fake key card in my hand. Surveillance cameras line the walls. Too bad they’re all down. The concrete stairs below me barely register my presence, not even a squeak from my shoes leaving the hall. The disguise on my face worked just as planned. Disguised myself as the bank manager. Wig, make up, down to that stupid zit in the middle of his nose he noticed a day after I did. Painstaking makeup work. Worth it for the fortune that lies in the vault, mere feet in front of me, where I now stand. My fingers fly across the keypad, entering the password. A robotic voice speaks, “Password Accepted. Biometric scan, activated.” Without a worry, I pull out a piece of tape. On it, is graphite. Of the manager’s fingerprint. From the manager’s index finger. Don’t ask how I have it. I don’t like the answer. I don’t like to think on it. Pressing the tape against the scanner, a beat passes. “Access, granted. Vault door 1A, open. Vault door 1B, open. Rows 1 through 5 shelves, access granted.” With a hydraulic hiss, the metal vault doors open, and I walk inside. The fortune that lies inside s mine for the taking. The life-changing wealth before my eyes lie mine, and only mine.
