why I like drawing things for people

E
it might be because seeing my friends happy makes me happier with myself, and it keeps me going and making more art. knowing i've made someone happy or made their day makes me want to be happy with them. it's a weird symbiotic relationship kind of thing; I make you happy with art, you being happy in turn makes me happy, and I keep making art for you and the cycle continues. and I also think it's based on the fact that some people's lives really, really suck, like mine used to. and my friends made me art, and that made me happy, and that helped me get back up and into the world instead of wallowing in self-isolation feeling bad for myself (not saying this is any of you, this is just what happened with me). I like to think my art makes people's lives a little bit better, and makes their futures a little bit brighter for them. if someone feels bad all the time, it might be nice to be happy about something, or excited that someone drew them something. I like to be the difference that reaches out a hand and hugs you, even for a second, through my art that I spend lots of hand cramps and hours on. if it makes you happy and excited and thrilled and all the good feels, then I'm happy too :3
