Yume craft ideas! :D

E
Hello halloooo! As someone who loves to DIY things and do crafts, I decided it would be pretty awesome to share some ideas for crafts! For me, crafting can be something to help me calm down and relax when I'm upset or stressed (which happens a lot haha laughs in mood disorder) so I'd just like to share with those who maybe need new coping mechanisms and such! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1: Make photocards! There are tutorials on youtube on how to size the photocards luckily, but there aren't any on how to make them if you don't have a photocard printer! This may require a printer unless you want to draw each thing out krhefhh Usually what I do is print out the pictures I want, cut them out, and then I cover them with Mod Podge! I think any glue would work so long as it dries clear, but I would mostly suggest Mod Podge as it's literally meant for covering things. It's nice and relaxing for me to be able to decorate them, and it's really cute too! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2: Patches! Oh yeah, my favorite thing ever. I LOVE making patches, and they're so cool to decorate hoodies with! And they're super easy! All you need is scrap fabric, boxcutter (please practice safety with this!), and either fabric paint or acrylic! You print or draw out the design you want, cut a piece of scrap fabric, and use the stencil to paint! One of the cool things is that you can turn acrylic paint into fabric paint by using fabric softener if you have it! ***IF YOU DO THIS!! IRON IT RIGHT AFTER!!! YOU PAINT IT!!! OTHERWISE!!! IT WILL WASH OFF IN THE WASH!!!!!*** You don't even need a stencil if you don't want one, just paint fabric! It's so relaxing and it's nice to watch a youtube video while painting for me! Remember to take breaks and stay hyderated!! :D -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3: Pearler patterns! Pearler beads my beloved. We all know how to do these... and they're nice looking! If your character doesn't have any pearler patterns... hmu... I *MIGHT* be able to make you one! Anything for my fellow yumeshippers! :D -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4: Kandi! Yeah. This needs no explaining hrkhvkhdfkhvjdfh --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5: Make a cardboard cutout! This takes a hot minute AND a printer AND a boxcutter AND a LOT of cardboard AND of course, glue. There are sites where it helps you section out the picture, so that's very nice! This is SO much fun and now you have your f/o staring at you as you sleep! Lovely! I would totally recommend this. It ranges on time depending on how big your cutout is gonna be. personally, my Zim one took like 2 hours, but this is because he's like 3 feet tall so. Tiny. It's super rewarding though!!! And pretty easy too! Just kinda time consuming! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK THERE WE GO GUYS!! 5 AWESOME CRAFTS ID RECCOMMEND!! PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRACTICE SAFETY WITH SHARP OBJECTS! Know your limits, if you don't trust yourself with sharp objects, please do not use them. You matter, and I know that's said a lot, but I truly mean it. Everyone is important, no matter what, and the most ordinary people are always the most important. If you need anyone to talk to, please reach out to someone! Even me.
