my first experience i want to talk about is how my best friend is aroace like me. because of this we are a lot more comfortable showing our platonic love for eachother. because of this a lot of my friends started calling us girlfriends or partners. we would always correct them but eventually we just stopped bc we didn’t rlly care. now people refer to us as wives i don’t know how i feel about it. Like on one hand I love them a lot but not in that way (obviously) and neither of us has any desire for a relationship (even a qpr) on the other we do kind of lean into it but never in a serious way. this other story is rlly funny to me. the other day i show up to school and somehow the asexuals will take over denmark thing came up. One of my friends was like WHAT and he is so into this one pice of ace culture 😭. keep in mind he is very straight and every once and a while i’ll hear a comment like “we all know Blue has it out for denmark” just when I think he has forgotten it and for some reason it’s so funny to me.
