what were yalls queer journeys

E
in honor of pride month, i think itd be cool to sort of reflect on milestones weve had as queer people, yk? anyways, my timeline was something like: -i was always chill with gay people. like i didnt realize that people didnt view two people of the same gender dating any different than straight people dating until i was maybe 10 - i had a bit of a "i support everyone but i internally dont like trans people that much" phase in the fifth grade, but this was due to my transphobic friends talking about all the horrible things that transphobes say about them and genuinely believing some of them. so for a few months i was misinformed and thought being trans was bad. dark times those were. - the ironic thing being that i had started feeling somewhat dysphoric in 4th, and then in 5th it was extreme and i questioned being a demigirl but was like "me? trans? never." (subtle foreshadowing moment right there) -in 6th i watched a video about one of my favorite youtubers experience as a trans person and was like "wait, thats how i feel!" and i told two of my friends i was dysphoric. one of them had sensed it before but now had their suspicions confirmed and the other wasnt very supportive but is super supportive now in the time since then i have accomplished coming out to a LOT more people, including teachers, most friends, parents. i have a therapist now to talk to about it. i also have a binder and a short haircut anyways yap to me about your journeys as queer people. i like to see the different ways people have found themselves and seeing the differences and common things :)
