Big 3d star! I was watching a video tutorial for this one that was terrible so don't blame me if anything doesn't make sense 😵💫 I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW SICK I AM OF HEARING "GO THROUGH THIS BEAD" from the video 😠 for this pattern, you will need TWO (or any number of colors if you really want) colors of beads: BASE COLOR AND POINT COLOR
Step 1
make a single with the pattern 5 base colors, 2 point colors (x5) should be 35 beads
Step 2
your string should be between two of the point beads add on two points color beads to your string
Step 3
go through the next bead, which should be the point color (black) bead that your string is not coming out from
Step 4
add on one base color beads and go through the next bead
Step 5
skip one bead and go through the next one over WITHOUT adding any beads on your string
Step 6
add on one more base color bead like shown
Step 7
repeat steps 2-6 for the rest of the row, like in the picture on the last bead, go into not only the next beads but the point color (black) bead above it
Step 8
just like the previous row, add on two points color (black) beads and go through the next point color bead over
Step 9
add on one bead and go through the next one THREE TIMES (so basically add on three beads) (like shown in the photo)
Step 10
finish the row by repeating those steps
Step 11
just like the previous row, add on two point color beads and then FOUR base color beads (like in the picture)

finish the row with those steps

for this row, add on only ONE point color bead, then TWO base color beads, then skip one like on step 5, and then TWO more base color beads see also: the picture above

should look like this you have completed half of the star!

now go down through the point color beads and one base color bead to the inside of the star

add on TWO base color beads to the inside of the star like in the picture

now add on your two point color beads (these steps are basically mimicking the first row)

weave together the points like shown in the picture (that's what the tutorials I found said, it is actually much easier to just go through the top bead)

put the sides together like this weave them together I guess?

repeat the weaving thing around the whole border of the star and then tie it off; it should look like this!

I put in a lot of work for these to actually put in images from the real-life process because visuals can make things so much easier, and this tutorial actually took quite a long time! I also had to redo the picture and some of the steps multiple times because the video I had as a reference was not very good 😵💫 please maybe consider sharing this with other people and if you have any questions just post on the forum
