HIYAAA!!! this tut will show you how to make alien antennae (or any antennae) :3 this does not show you how to make a peyote stitch which is used for most of the tutorial so go figure that out before following it :D this can also be paired with cat ears
Step 1
first, find or make your own pattern!! im using the image shown but any that looks similar will work :) different heights will work but different widths will not work!!! i used about 1 arms length of string i think
Step 2
start it off like any peyote stitch, i did even so im not sure if it works with odd, but it should!!
Step 3
Now with one string add 2 rows and with the other add 1 row, it should be 3 beads per row :3
Step 4
using the string you did 1 row with, go through each bead that pokes out like so!! it should all be on the same side!!
Step 5
PULLLLLLLL super tight!! make sure theres no gaps and then tie it off like a single!! each row of beads should make a triangle-like shape!! DO NOT cut off the string
Step 6
start another peyote stitch like this!! make it tight otherwise it will be loose :P
Step 7
make a shape like this so it looks pointy!! if u dont know how, its skip one bead, add green, add white, next row, add green, add green, next row, skip one, add green :D sorry if its confusing :S
Step 8
repeat on the other side with the other string!! it should now be almost a triangle :3
Step 9
tie the 2 strings together super tight!!! now it should be hollow-ish :O DONT CUT OFF THE EXTRA
Step 10
thread the string through 2 of the beads below so it lays flat!!! now u can make the other with the same steps :P
Step 11
now attach them to your headphones or headband :3 i used wire because then they dont flop around but u can still use string!!
