Here's how I put a gacha capsule on an X-cuff!!!! (Not an X-cuff tutorial!)
Step 1
Things you need: An X-cuff (or cuff of your choice) A gacha capsule Some kind of plastic thread (preferrably non-stretchy for durability) A pokey tool (or a sewing needle, safety pin, etc. will work in a pinch) (optional) lighter
Step 2
CAREFULLY/SLOWLY poke holes in the lid of the capsule with your pokey tool. It is important to be careful with this, as you can see I had to make a 2nd set of holes because I accidentally broke the lid a bit when I poked to fast/forcefully. I only used two holes to attach this one, but four holes may make it more stable in the future. If you opt for four holes, The next threading steps will look a little different. I'd reccomend looking up a four-hole button sewing tutorial if you are struggling to attach it 🫶
Step 3
Thread the plastic thread through one of the center beads on your cuff.
Step 4
Put the ends of the thread in each hole, making sure the inside of the lid faces outward!
Step 5
The knot was tough. You can’t quite get close enough to the lid to do what I normally do to tie things. So I did two simple knots as tight as I could, and one overhand knot with both strands, as close-up to the first knots as I could get it. Cut the thread, and optionally melt the thread with a lighter. You could probably tie the knot outside of the lid, but I was scared it would poke me and make me itchy. I think it's nicer inside too because it gets hidden by whatever you put in the capsule!
Step 6
Put a Thingâ„¢ inside the capsule and wear it!!!!!!!!!!! These would make cute terrariums if you wanted to go even more above and beyond! But this is where mine ends for now :)
This was my first tutorial! I hope it inspires people!!! I wanna see more capsule cuffs and see what people do with them!!!!! :)
