If you have seen my monster designs and wonder "How do I put that together?" Then here is my attempt to explain it. Read through this before you start

Step 1

You want to start in the middle with a long piece of string. You don't need to worry too much if the beads aren't in a perfect spot. We can fix that later.

Step 2

Feed it through the start so that it forms a mini cuff. Tie it here (DO NOT cut string) and feed the strings through separate beads. Helps hide the knot and separate the threads.

Step 3

When following the pattern and you spot 2 beads are swapped, you can feed the string through the right bead and it will eventually fix itself. (This only works when you are just starting) Continue the pattern with both ends until done.

Step 4

By now it should look like this. If you have enough string to continue, then continue normally, if not you can feed the strings through the beads until they meet and tie them there. Then you can use new string and start at the next step. You just have to tie them together after the first step (Don't cut it there yet. You can use that excess to tie it together)

Step 5

Feed your string though the top/bottom beads like so. Pull it together tightly unless this is the top. then skim down and find the part of me mentioning something you need to do there right now before it is fully tightened. Itll be dark purple beads. (If you are using a new piece of string, this is where you tie it. Just do not cut the short string. It can be used later)

Step 6

After tightened it should look like this. Thread one bead on the thread and loop it through the same bead (I forgot to draw my arrows)

Step 7

Now we loop it through some beads. The lines drawn is to show which bead is which in my reference. Arrows show the direction it goes through the beads

Step 8

This is the full path the string makes in the top and bottom. Arrows go in rainbow order.

Step 9

Optional but, if you want the can to look more rounded in, you can push in the bottom bead, string a small piece of thread through the same beads and tied tightly

Step 10

When doing the top I like to fill the piece with beads to help it keep its shape.

There are many ways to tie this off. It all depends on if you had enough string or not, and tbh where my knots land is always different than the last. Any thread can be tied up, even if you have one end. Have some knowledge on the different ways you can tie thread. (I think Mood.Kandi on youtube can help with that? Hopefully)
