helloooo, I make lots of patterns and here is some pieces of advice on how I come up with so many patterns/ideas for patterns so quickly without as much burnout. now the number 1 piece of advice i can give you for helping with burnout is taking breaks and stuff like that but here is some stuff i dont think anyone else talks about with kandi inspo/making.
Step 1
1. Make an inspo board/list, if you see something that has a cool color palette, has a cool pattern, is a good idea etc, either take a picture of it and put it in a photo album just for inspo/notes app like I am, or if your doing it on Pinterest you could also just make a board for inspo and add it on there.
Step 2
(Still on advice 1) Whenever you feel motivated enough to make a pattern but don’t know what you can go through your inspo board and once you find something that inspires you, it’ll make pattern making a lot easier than every pattern you make coming just from your imagination/ideas alone.
Step 3
2, if you make a cool cuff, try to think of it as a base and think about if there's anything you could add to it to make it something else or themed like something else. for example, I recently made a ribcage cuff, once I made that I started thinking about if it would look good if I added eyes, if i added stars, if i made the colors primary colored, if I did this, if I did that and from those questions I was able to make 10 patterns instead of just one and all look good and unique.
That's pretty much it, I haven't made a tut in a while lol but I thought after making all my ribcage cuffs that it would probably be a good idea to make this just for ppl to be able to get inspired/motivated more. I hope if you took any advice from this it helps you. have a good day! <3
