Hello guys! this is my first tutorial, so it mayyy not be that good heh ^^; But anyways- i found out how to do this cool "single" type a long time ago and i dont think ive ever seen anyone do it, so i might of invented it! or not- who knows- :]
For this project, you need pony beads (ofc), star beads, letter beads (cube), and string that is long enough to wrap around your wrist TWICE and fit comfterbley, maybe make it slightly longer so u can tie it off!
First Step! Add two beads onto your string, like your starting a peote stitch.
Step Two! Add 1 bead on BOTH strings, also like a peote!
Step Three! Add 1 star bead on BOTH strings, with the "flatter side" facing where your about to put the letter beads! ("Flatter side" as in, the side where the hole isnt comming out a point in the star and is comming out between the two points in the bottom :3)
Step Four! ADD YOUR LETTER BEADS ON BOTH STRINGS!!! :DDD (this will also change how many beads u have to add on to make the bracelet fit on your wrist)
Step Five! Add 1 star bead on both of the strings with the "flatter side" facing the letter beads.
Step Six! Add one pony bead onto both strings :3
Step Seven! Add one bead onto each string! so two beads this time basically but one for one string and one for the other!
Step Eight! Add one bead onto both strings to finish off the mini section! (its ment to look like a peote diamond thing hehe)
Step Nine! Add a star! flat end facing the beads again (if you end up using six stars, make 3 of the flat sides facing the letters, and two of the points facing the letters so when you close it, it will look like the stars are all pointing away, you can do this with any amount, even with odd amounts of stars :D)
Step Ten! Repeat Steps 6-9 till the desiered wrist length!
Step Eleven! Once at the wrist length you want, add JUST one bead to both strings!
Step Twelve! Split the two strings apart and thread one through each bead at the start to finish the little peote-diamond thing!
Step Thirteen! Tie off and enjoy you new-style "single"!!
Here are some of the ones ive made, their really cute!! i have 3 other ones but you get the jist! (my fav ones are the "JWK" one and the "LEMON DEMON" one hehe-)
