Heres a quick tutorial for how to make a star belt! What you need : Strong string 2 clasps (any size works aslong as it is strong) 400 beads minimum Hope the tutorial is understandable and not to complicated
Step 1
For step one you're gonna need to make a kandi star - this takes 25 beads; this first part of the star uses 10. String 10 beads and tie it Im using stretchy jelly elastic but any string works
Step 2
Step two is to put 3 beads through each 2nd bead (Using my colours for a guide) Im going to place string through one yellow bead, string 3 then continue the string through the next yellow. Go all the way around til it completes (I've left string just to show how it works, finish the whole thing when your making it.)
Step 3
Once you tie it off you will have a full star, you will need to make more to complete the belt. (This is an estimate and may be off) Depending on your waist this is what I'd recommend; Smaller - 16-17 stars Medium - 18-20 stars Large - 21-22 stars You may need more or less depending on your waist In mine I did 20 stars (500 beads), when I wear it , it is loose and usually clip it off at 18 stars
Step 4
Once you've made all the stars, connect them. Connect from the points marked by scissors, continue this with all stars, each star should have a star on either side of it, except for end stars which will only have one. Do not make a full circle, leave a end on each side.
Step 5
Once added all together it should look something like this.
Step 6
On each end add a clasp, im using these clasps as they are very strong. Any size works as long as they are strong
And your done! Put it on and clip the clasps into eachother, voila! If you feel like adding other keychains or stuff to connect you can add it through the strings that tie the stars together! I hope this whole thing made sense and wasnt to painful, its my first tut hope you enjoy!
