How to Make the 6-stripe Rainbow Flag

(Ladder stitch tutorial included) 6 x 6 mini flag, ladder stitch. Uses 36 beads.

Step 1

Ladder stitch tutorial 1. Get a disposable straw and cut it open (OPTIONAL, but I recommend for straight rows)

Step 2

Put one of each of the 6 colours on the straw.

Step 3

1. Push the beads up so the purple one is about halfway off the straw. 2. Cut the straw and push the beads back on. 3. Repeat 5 times so you have 6 pieces.

Step 4

Put one piece on a string, preferably longer than you think you'll need, and centre it.

Step 5

1. Put another piece on one side, and line up the purples and reds. 2. push the other string through the side the other string comes out of with something like a paperclip. 3. Pull both sides

Step 6

Pull one string through to the other side, next to the other string.

Step 7

1. Double knot the strings 2. cut the remaining string off
