these are tips and tricks that I use on the daily and make kand a little easier/more fun (photos from google)
Step 1
Tip 1- Needles, I feel that needles were a big game changes for me. especially during big projects like a bag or even during an X base cuff or anything multi-stich. they come in so many colors and sizes and are practically dirt cheap for a lot of them. and there not sharp enough to hurt you if you nick your thumb. (at least the ones I buy are 😅)
Step 2
Tip 2- I live in a climate where those clear elastics dry rot's (they grow stiff and will break apart) so instead I use this type of elastic as shown above I use it for everything and you can even get it in other colors then black. I normally buy the two pack off of Amazon for 7$. This stretchy elastic in the pic I fully trust. (it also fits in the needles in the previous tip)
Step 3
Tip 3- yes in the picture above it shows a tackle box. Organization is everything. you need a clear space to do Kandi and a tackle box is the best thing for it I have two tackle boxes (1 for charms and 1 for needles, string, ect) they have so many compartments and are literally built to be compact they also come in many colors and styles. they also take markers and stickers. I highly recommend these.
this is the end of the first kandi tips and tricks. but don't worry there will be more, if you have any tips and tricks that you want included in this series I have a thread open for that just check out my profile and got to my "threads started". until next time - Pony Bead Unlimited out ❤
