Here is a tutorial on how to make a mini top hat! I couldn't find any tutorials that were fit for the size I wanted so i wanted to make my own!!! In order to make this, you need to know how to make a multistitch and a star.
Step 1
First make a single! The beads must be an even number, im using 26. Im using an armspan of string. Cut the shorter end of the string and leave the longer end.
Step 2
Start to make it taller like a multistitch! For the first 2 rows (or more if u want!!), make it the colour of the band that goes around the base of the hat.
Step 3
Continue the multistitch upwards until you reach the height you want and then tie it off, but dont cut the string!!
Step 4
Make a star!!
Step 5
Attach the points of the star to the top of the hat, tie it off, and cut off the excess string!!
Step 6
Tie some string to the bottom of the hat.
Step 7
Start making a bunch of spikes around the hat, the same way you would make a star!
Step 8
Once you do that, add 2 beads between each point!
Step 9
When youve done that all around, tie off the string and cut it off!!
Step 10
And thats it!! You can put it on a head band like I did, put it on a hair clip or put it on a toy if its not for you to wear : 3
