Making paper starssssss What you'll need: Paper (Preferably construction paper) Sliding Paper Cutter Scissors (optional)
Step 1
Make sure your piece of paper is horizontal before cutting.
Step 2
Put it in the cutter at the ONE CENTIMETER MARK! ONE CENTIMETER!
Step 3
Cut the paper.
Step 4
If your piece of paper doesn't look remotely like this, I think you messed up. Fold along the black dashed line.
Step 5
Fold along the black dashed line. Making the tail of the paper go in front of the little 'V'
Step 6
Fold along the black dashed line. Making the tail of the paper wrapping around the back of the Pentagon.
Step 7
Fold along the black dashed line. Making the tail of the paper go in front of the Pentagon.
Step 8
Fold along the black dashed line. Keep repeating these last few steps until you are out of paper.
Step 9
When it looks similar to this, cut off the red section so that the paper ends about half-way into the pentagon.
Step 10
So it looks like this.
Step 11
I like to fold the end into itself to make the next step easier, but u do u twin.
Step 12
Put the tail under the previous wraps of the pentagon.
Step 13
So it looks like a solid piece of paper, Pentagon.
Step 14
Hold three of the edges with three fingers, preferably your dominant hand. and the other two edges with your thumb and pointer finger of your non-dominant hand. NEVER EVER HOLD EITHER OF THE FACES WHILE DOING THE NEXT STEP! NEVER! (unless u want a messed up star)
Step 15
Press the nail of your non-dominant thumb into the middle of the edge, till it pops up slightly.
Step 16
Repeat until all sides are pressed in. Now you have a single star.
For me it depends on what type of paper I used, but it takes me about a minute to make a single star. I use, copy paper, construction paper, cardstock, and text weight paper. pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon pentagon
