Simple tut for a Kandi bow (sorry in advance if this sucks,.. I’m NOT good at tuts ;-; ) buuuut! You can use almost any beads along with pony beads to make this cute lil bow charm!
Step 1
Materials your gonna need: 1.pony beads (any color) for the bow itself 2.stretch cord (any kind works really just should be stretchy!) 3. Scissors 4. Some kind of “fancy” or variety bead for the middle accent 5. “Fancy” variety round (ish) beads for the bottom of the bow
Step 2
Get your materials out! Small ish piece of string, 16 pony beads, one middle (star, or whatever you have and want to use :) ) bead, and 10 bottom accent beads in total and a good pair of scissors!
Step 3
Put 8 pony beads on and slide to the middle of the string
Step 4
Put your star bead on both the ends of string and pull it down to tighten it and connect the 8 pony beads
Step 5
Now, put the other 8 pony beads on in the same order, then tie regularly and cut off the excess string
Step 6
Now that the excess string is cut, use the two scrap pieces for the bottom part of the bow, see how after cutting it left two small scraps? That’s what we’re gonna use :)
Step 7
So, this part can be tricky, to start, we’re gonna take one scrap string, and weave it through the bottom pony bead closest to the star, you can do either side right or left, but, I’m doing my right
Step 8
Now, we’re gonna take that same scrap string, and weave it through the middle (star bead) then through the pony bead next to it, now, you will have two sets of string hanging down, now you can add the bottom beads! See how the bow is starting to form??
Step 9
Now! We add the bottom beads! The simple step! Add 5 round variety beads of your choice to each hanging string, then tie in the way that’s most comfortable for you to keep the beads in place :) cut off the ends, and now you’re done!!!
