(Yes, the cover was taken in my car 😭) This shaker is a great fidget for school, doom scrolling, drawing, or when going out! It’s small enough to hide in your hand, however big enough to find easily! A ton of designs can be made, but my favorite are lgbt flags, especially for my friends! In the next pics, I’ll be making an asexual one, but the pattern you make is optional! Enjoy 💛

Step 1

First, put twelve beads on a string that looks WAY too long. Trust me, you’ll thank me later for it. After tying, DO. NOT. CUT. THE. EXCESS. It will be used in the second to last step.

Step 2

Now that you have your twelve beads, start a multi stitch. (Multi stitch tut in pic, but if you don’t understand it, I’d recommend stopping now, and searching another tut. The pic is for a cuff, but the way the beads are put on is the same) As shown on the cover, make the rows three high UNLESS you’re making a lgbt flag that cannot be made without more, however three is the sweet spot :3

Step 3

Nice multi stitch you got there! Note you can always restart if needed. This is hard to explain so I’d recommend just looking at the pic, but I’ll try me best 😭 Have the string out of the bead closest to it, and it should look like you’re ready to start another row. Put a bead on said string, and thread the string through the next bead. Instead of putting on another one, thread string through the three beads that kinda look like a “V.” You now should have a gap between where the string is, and where the bead is. Put a bead on the string, thread it, and then repeat the “V” step. Do this until you have three beads sticking up.

Step 4

Make the string come out of one of the three beads sticking out. From there, put a bead on said string, and thread it through the other sticking up bead. Do it until you have a triangle looking shape. Tie it three to five times. Repeat this on the other side with the excess string I told you not to cut but don’t tie it this time.

Step 5

Put beads inside of the shaker. If it’s a cool pattern, put any color of beads you want, but put five. If a LGBT flag pattern (optional) put the colors of the flag inside. If three stripes: First color get two, second get one, and last get two If four: Put the four colors (having four instead of five won’t affect anything) If six: Put the six, or find a bead that has mixed colors. Now you may tie it shut.

Step 6

This last step is the most important one: ENJOY! Don’t stretch it or else beads will fall out, but squeezing it should be fine if you’re using string that’s tight (the pic is all the ones I made! Top two are mine, and bottom two are for friends)

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial! It was my first one, so srry if anything was confusing! Buh-bye, goobers! 💛
