spiked cuff tutorial but in my way. everyone has different ways so.. if you are inexperienced with multi-stitch patterns, please educate yourself before doing this !
Step 1
first order of business : string . make sure you have enough, you'll need it. If it touches the floor like in the photo you got enough.
Step 2
Make a single of 26-28 beads depending on your wrist size. Doing 26 in this tutorial. Tie it once your done, but keep the longer tail. Cut the short tail off.
Step 3
Pass your string through the bead circled in the photo. If you are confused, basically the bead thats after the knot. I like to do this, its easier.
Step 4
To start the process off, you'll be doing a normal multistitch. In the photo, I did two whites, two black for the start. This cuff should have 4 areas of white. After the start, repeat the process but do one black instead of two. The two whites stay the same.
Step 5
You should end your first layer with a black. In the photo, the areas where you should weave the string are circles. You'd be coming out of the white bead then.
Step 6
For the next few layers, use black, repeat the normal multistitch procress.
Step 7
When you get to this part follow this photo. Act like your going to make a new row but tie it off, step 8 will show what it should look like when tied. Do not cut your string after you tie!!!
Step 8
This is what it should look like after tying. (apologies for crappy photo)
Step 9
apologies for crap photo again but in the photo, the areas where you should weave your string down after are circled. It should be in a diagonal way.
Step 10
Repeat this process til your done. Weave your string into those black beads circled, and then the first white. Add 3 beads, and weave into the second white. Repeat this all around. If you don't directly weave into those black beads it will look silly
Step 11
when your done, tie. This is what it should look like and yea your basically done unless you mess up! make sure its tied tight! yayay your done and you survived
thank you for checking this out :) ! hopefully this helped you, and if it didn't apologies. you can also do this in many different colors aswell, so if you want a different color, go right ahead!
