A tutorial on my pattern "Cream soda keychains", I did this one in pink (the red bead is harder to distinguish, my bad) but any colors can of course be tweaked. The black beads act as a straw and if you have a keyring or just want to attach it to a rotator or something, you can use them that way too.

Step 1

Materials Needed: Decent bit of string, 2.5-3 singles worth of string scissors 6 white beads 2 black beads 1 red bead 3 lighter (soda) color beads 4 darker (soda) color beads

Step 2

String a lighter bead and a white bead. It doesn't matter the order.

Step 3

Grab both ends of the string and put them both through another lighter bead. Try to keep it tense so that you don't end up with a floppy part at the end.

Step 4

On whichever side the previous white bead is on, string another white bead onto it's corresponding string. On the lighter bead side, string a darker bead. Tie the two strings together once or twice. I recommend having slightly more string on the lighter bead side, but it's not necessary.

Step 5

(I don't think it matters here?) Pull either string through the nearest white bead, string another white bead onto it, and pull it through the first white bead.

Step 6

String the red bead onto the string and pull it through the white bead on top. Then string a black bead.

Step 7

(There's probably a better way of doing this tbh) Pull the string through the rightmost white bead (or just the one under the black bead) and up through the black bead.

Step 8

String the other black bead and tie the string to itself (I think? should work), if that doesn't work because I explained it badly, just do whatever to reach the reference image ig.

Step 9

Take the second string from the start and string it through the darker bead. String on a lighter bead and put it through the lower left lighter bead.

Step 10

(I think I'm missing a photo so sorry) String a darker bead and put it through the middle lighter bead. string another and go through the uppermost darker bead. (Again, probably better ways to do this) Take the string through the bottom middle lighter bead and the leftmost lighter bead. Then string it through the bottom left darker bead, attach a darker bead, and string through the bottom right darker bead.

Step 11

Kinda like last step, just pull your string through the (best if) middle beads until you come out of either side of the bottom middle darker bead. String a white bead and tie it or do whatever you did up on the straw (ignore the knot, I didn't have enough string so I had to add some).

Step 12

string a white bead and go into the previous white bead the same side/direction you came in. There should be a string on the outside of the bead.

Step 13

Do the same thing on the other side of the white bead and tie off (I don't know if my method is good/strong but I just tied it to the previous strings in the project)

If there's any questions you have, I have or will (right now it's a will) post a video on my channel (self promotion ik, sorry lol) that should hopefully be helpful?
